The Seychelles are one of those places that take your breath away and stay with you for a long time. Our crew had the opportunity to experience an unforgettable adventure, sailing around these paradise islands on a modern Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 catamaran from 2024. It is an extremely comfortable vessel that fully met the crew's expectations, both in terms of comfort and safety while sailing.

We began our journey on the largest Seychellois island – Mahé, where we picked up our yacht and prepared for the expedition. On Mahé you'll find Victoria – the world's smallest capital city, full of charming colonial buildings and exotic markets. It's worth stopping here for a moment to soak up the local atmosphere, try fresh fruits, and visit the famous clock tower – a miniature version of London's Big Ben.

La Digue – a cyclist's paradise

One of our first stops was La Digue – a true gem of the Seychelles. It's an island where time seems to flow slower, and the main mode of transport is bicycles. The white beaches with their distinctive granite rocks create a postcard-like landscape. Crystal-clear water and an amazing atmosphere make La Digue a must-visit spot on every sailor's itinerary.

Curieuse – island of giant tortoises

The next stop on our route was Curieuse – a unique island inhabited by the famous giant tortoises. Walking around the island, we had the opportunity to see these majestic creatures up close and explore mangrove forests and wild beaches. Curieuse is also a place where you can experience a true connection with nature and relax in the shade of palm trees.

While sailing, the crew was fortunate to see dolphins leaping just off our hull, majestic sharks gliding underwater, and enormous manta rays lazily drifting beneath the surface. Additionally, thanks to our perfectly coordinated crew, every moment on board was filled with positive energy and great fun.

Upon returning to the marina on Friday evening, the crew celebrated the end of their cruise with a special dinner. They went to Bravo Restaurant, where they enjoyed exquisite food and a wonderful atmosphere. Fresh seafood, local specialities, and great service made it the perfect way to end this amazing journey.

A cohesive crew and a fantastic atmosphere on board made every moment of this cruise a pure pleasure. Sailing together, long conversations at sunset, and shared meals on deck made this trip truly special.
We can't wait for the next maritime adventure!
