Planning a trip to Thailand? Please note – from 1 May 2025 reintroduced the obligation to complete Arrival card. This is an important change for all tourists and travellers arriving in the Kingdom of Thailand.
What is a Thailand arrival card?
This is an official immigration document required by the Thai authorities. It is used for registration of personal data of foreigners crossing the border. The form contains information about:
- passport,
- travel expenses,
- accommodation,
- planned length of stay.
When does it come into effect again?
- From 1 May 2025. The Thai immigration authorities have reintroduced the requirement to fill out an arrival card for those arriving by air, sea or land.
- The obligation applies to all foreign citizens, including tourists from Poland.

The form must be completed 72 hours (3 days) before scheduled arrival on the official immigration platform

Upon correct completion you will receive QR code or confirmation, which should:
- save to phone and
- print out and have with you during border control.
What data is required?
Prepare:
- Passport details
- Flight information and arrival date
- Accommodation address in Thailand
- Purpose of travel (e.g., tourism, visiting family, business)
Remember to have an electronic or printed copy of the form with you. Don't leave it to the last minute – sort out the formalities before your trip to enjoy hassle-free entry into Thailand!
