Thailand has something magical about it. On the one hand, the hustle and bustle, the scent of spices, and the tuk-tuks of Bangkok, on the other – quiet coves, blue waters, and sunsets on a yacht. This is exactly what our trip looked like from 18–31 October 2025.
First Bangkok – the city that never sleeps
Before we hopped on the yacht, we had a short city break in Bangkok. Three days full of colours, sounds and... street food, which is addictive from the first bite. We visited the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the famous Wat Pho with its enormous reclining Buddha – these places impress even the most reluctant tourists. In the evenings, we wandered through the streets of Bangkok, where life goes on 24/7. Music, street food, foot massages and the scent of mango sticky rice wafting through the air.
Phuket – we set off on paradise waters
After the hustle and bustle of the city, it's time for what we love most – the sea and wind in our sails.
From Phuket we set off on our week-long cruise and immediately knew it was going to be something special.
Every day we woke up in a different place: Phi Phi, Krabi, Koh Yao, and many others…
Coral reefs, bays surrounded by limestone rocks, beaches with white sand and water so clear that you could see your own thoughts.
One of the stops on our itinerary was the iconic James Bond Island, famous from the film „The Man with the Golden Gun”. This rock formation looks as if nature created it solely to become famous. Tall, slender, rising straight from the water – it makes a huge impression in person.
Sailing between the limestone walls of Ao Phang Nga Bay is like travelling to another era. The silence, the echo bouncing off the rocks, the boats gliding between mangroves… It’s one of those places where you take a thousand photos, and each one looks like a postcard.
One of the most energetic points of our cruise was the famous Phi Phi.
By day – a postcard-perfect paradise: limestone cliffs rising from the water, white-sand beaches, water as smooth as glass. But by night… the magic begins.
Fire dancers appeared on the beach, and we watched their show with bated breath.
Swirling flames, acrobatics, music and sand beneath your feet – it was like stepping into another world. And then... the beach party, which draws in even the shyest of people.
Laughter everywhere, lights, coconut drinks and people who have come here from all over the world to feel the same thing: the freedom of a tropical night.
The videos we brought back from there speak volumes – Phi Phi absolutely reigns supreme when it comes to nightlife.
It's hard to describe – you have to feel it.
When you wake up in the morning, open your eyes, and are greeted by a turquoise bay and the scent of the sea, you know you are truly alive. This cruise was exactly that – a break from everyday life, a complete reset, and the best way to see Thailand from a side that ordinary tourists don't experience.
