For an entire week, you live and train on board, gaining experience in real sea conditions. You don't just observe from the sidelines – you are part of the crew and each day develop the skills needed to skipper a yacht independently.

What will you learn?
Plan a cruise
You will learn the principles of route planning, weather condition analysis, and crew organisation.
Maneuvering the yacht
The exercises include approaches to the quay, departures from the berth, harbour manoeuvres, and sailing and engine handling of the vessel.
Navigate without stress
You will learn to use maps, set a course and make the right decisions on the water.

What is the training like?
✓ Booking a place and preparing for the course
Once you have made the reservation, paid the deposit and completed the formalities, you will gain access to training materials and a database of examination questions. This will allow you to begin your theoretical preparation even before you come on board and familiarise yourself with the scope of knowledge required for the exam.
Intensive practical yacht training
For the entire week, you will live and train on a sea yacht under the care of an experienced instructor. These are not individual practical lessons, but a full-scale training cruise during which you become part of the crew. Every day you will participate in harbour manoeuvres, sailing and motoring the yacht, route planning, working with charts, and organising life on board. Thanks to the intimate training format, you gain a lot of time at the helm and the opportunity to actively participate in all aspects of the cruise.
✓ Yacht Skipper's Certificate Examination
Upon completing the training, you will sit a state examination, which includes both a theoretical and a practical part. During the course, we will prepare you for both parts of the examination, so that you can approach it with confidence and calm.
✓ Obtaining a patent
Upon successfully passing the exam, you will receive a certificate confirming its completion. Based on this document, you can apply to the Polish Yachting Association for a Yacht Helmsman's Certificate and formally join the ranks of those qualified to skipper seagoing yachts.
What rights does a JSM patent grant?
The Yacht Skipper's Sea Licence opens the way to independently skipper yachts at sea and is one of the most frequently chosen sailing qualifications for those planning sea voyages and charters abroad.
Once you have obtained a patent, you can:
✓ to skipper sailing yachts on all inland waters – with no limits on yacht length,
✓ skipper sailing yachts with a hull length of up to 18 metres on all seas,
✓ Independently organise and lead sea voyages,
✓ Charter most popular yachts used for leisure and tourist cruises.
Yachtmaster Offshore – requirements
✓ Must be 18 years of age, no later than the day of the exam.
✓ Minimum 200 hours of sea service – at least two sea voyages with a total sailing time of at least 200 hours are required. The sea service must be properly documented.
✓ State exam passed – the exam covers theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the independent operation of a sea-going yacht.
Worth knowing:
To take the exam for Yacht Skipper, you do not need to hold a Yacht Sailor licence or have completed a mandatory course.
Additional charges:
✓ Exam: PLN 350 (fee to PZŻ account before the exam)
✓ Patent issuance: £50 (payment to PZŻ account after passing the exam)
Students and learners aged 26 or under are entitled to a 50% discount on the exam and
the issue of a licence (upon presentation of a valid student ID).

No, experience is not required to begin the training. However, to be eligible to take the Yachtmaster Offshore exam, you must meet the regulatory sea time requirements.
This is a standard situation. We select a flatmate from the group of participants, ensuring a suitable match for the double cabin. You can also register as a pair with a friend.
This is a communal cash pool collected by the crew at the start of the cruise. It covers the group's shared running expenses: fuel used during the cruise, port mooring fees, and provisions for the yacht (breakfasts, snacks, dinners).
