USE OF COOKIES
The administrator uses cookies via the website.
Information collected from cookies is used for the proper optimisation of the website's operation, as well as for statistical and advertising purposes.
Cookies record the User's activity on the website by recognising the Device, so that the website is displayed in a way that is optimised to the User's individual preferences.
The solutions used on the website are safe for the devices of users accessing the Administrator's website. It is not possible for dangerous or malicious software to gain access to users' devices.
The administrator uses two types of cookies:
Session cookies: these are files that are stored on the User's Device and remain there until the end of the given browser session. The saved information is then permanently deleted from the Device's memory. The session cookie mechanism does not allow for the retrieval of any personal data or any confidential information from the User's Device.
Persistent cookies: these are stored on the User's Device and remain there until they are deleted. The end of a given browser session or turning off the Device does not cause them to be deleted from the Device. The persistent cookie mechanism does not allow for the downloading of any personal data or any confidential information from the User's Device.
The provisions of this document are equally applicable to mechanisms other than cookies, but operating similarly (e.g. Local Storage).
METHODS OF DETERMINING THE CONDITIONS OF STORAGE OR ACCESS TO COOKIES
The user has the option to restrict or disable access to Cookies on their Device. If this option is used, it will still be possible to use the Administrator's website, apart from functions that inherently require Cookies.
The user can independently change cookie settings at any time, defining the conditions for their storage and access by cookies to the user's device. The user can make changes to the aforementioned settings using their web browser settings or by configuring the service. These settings can be changed, in particular, to block the automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings or to inform about their placement on the device each time. Detailed information about the possibilities and methods of handling cookies is available in the software settings (web browser).
Users can delete Cookies at any time by using the functions available in their web browser.
Limiting the use of cookies may affect some functionalities available on the Administrator's website.
DATA ANALYSIS TOOLS
In order to optimally configure the Administrator's website, as well as increase its attractiveness to visiting Users, the Administrator uses the following analysis tools:
Google Analytics – The Administrator uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. („Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies”, which are text files stored on the User’s device and enable an analysis of how the website is used. The information generated by the cookie regarding the use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website within the Member States of the European Union or in other countries that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, the User’s IP address is truncated by Google beforehand. On behalf of the Website Administrator, Google uses this information to analyse website usage, compile reports on website activity, and provide further services related to website and internet usage to the website administrator. The IP address transmitted by the User’s browser as part of the Google Analytics service is not combined with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings in your browser software. In this case, however, your ability to make full use of all the features of the Administrator’s website may be limited or impossible. You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Instructions regarding the ”opt-out cookie„ service can be found at the following link: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gajs/?hl=de#disable. The Controller’s website uses Google Analytics with the ”anonymizeIp()” extension; therefore, IP addresses are processed only in truncated form to prevent them from being directly linked to specific individuals.
Google AdSense – the Administrator’s website uses the Google AdSense online advertising service, which allows for the display of ads tailored to your interests. To achieve this, statistical information about you is collected and processed by our advertising partners. These ads can be recognised by the ”Ads by Google" information on the advertisement. For this purpose, Google uses Web Beacons to set a cookie on your device. You can prevent Google AdSense cookies from being installed in various ways:
– through appropriate browser software settings;
– by deactivating interest-based ads in Google at the link http://www.google.de/ads/preferences, whereby this setting is removed when the User deletes their cookies;
– by deactivating the service provider's interest-based advertisements, which are part of the self-regulatory campaign ”About Ads," at http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is removed when the User deletes their cookies;
– by permanently disabling them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome browser via the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.
